Try first to burn 1 avi file if your dvd player can play it. If it plays then you dont need to convert them to dvd format. But converting them to dvd format will sure be worry free.. Also dont compress ur video too much to save disk space. It may become pixelated.. I use nero. It converts most videos to dvd before burning.

I think you should make sure what format your downloaded video is?

If your video is divx, avi, rmvb, mpeg, mov, I think you will burn your video to your DVD Disc directly.

You can download a dvd burner to have a try.

It is easy to use and you can burn your video to dvd easily without any difficulty.

If your video is some other video formats which are not popular, I think you need a video converter to change your video format first.

Hope it can help you.

Hi, glad to share with you.

according to my own experience, first you need to convert the avi file to the DVD format like vob or mpeg via a good video converter to keep the quality without loss, like Moyea Video Converter which can help you convert avi to vob or mpeg without any loss of quality and audio/video issues.

and then you just need to use nero to burn the converted file to DVD.

hope it helps!
